Alma Ruth Lewis 
Alma Ruth was born on December 4th, 1922 in Waco, Texas. Alma Ruth's father was Robert E. Lee Lewis and her mother was Cora Rena Barker. She had a sister named Edna. She is the younger of the two children.General Notes

"KERMIT BJORLIE TO WED TEXAS GIRL- Mrs. Cora Lewis, Waco, Texas,
announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Ruth,
to Kermit M. Bjorlie, Mahnomen, Minnesota. The wedding will take place
August 30 at 8:30 p.m. with Dr. W. W. Melton officiating. The
bride-elect is a graduate of Waco High School and of a business college
there. For several years, she has been employed by Karem Temple,
A.A.O.N.M.S. Mr. Bjorlie, son of Mrs. Louise Bjorlie and the late Olaf
Bjorlie of Pekin graduated from public schools there, and from North
Dakota Agricultural College, after which he served three years in the
Army Air Corps, part of which time was spent in the Southwest Pacific.
He was discharged with the rank of first lieutenant. At present, Mr.
Bjorlie is connected with the State Extension Service in Mahnomen,
Minnesota."
Alma Ruth and Kermit Manfred were married in a religious ceremony on August 30th, 1947 in Columbus Avenue Baptist Church,Waco,Texas. They have two sons and a daughter, named Living, Living and Living.
