Oliver G. was born in 1898 in Lake Hanska Township, Brown County, Minnesota. Oliver G.'s father was John O. Lee and his mother was Anna Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Ole F. Lien and Lisbet Magelie; his maternal grandparents were Johan Ellefson Brudeli-Oien and Gullaug Andersdatter Brudelie Oien. He had a brother and a sister, named Alvin J. and Josie Lenora. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 76 in 1974.-
