William Largent 
William was born on September 16th, 1798 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). William's father was John L. Largent and his mother was Sarah Critton. His paternal grandparents were James Largent and Margaret Stephens; his maternal grandparents were John Sr. Critton and UNKNOWN Mary. He had two brothers and six sisters, named James T., John Washington, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Amelia and Malinda. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died after 1828.-
