Amelia Largent 
Amelia was born in 1814 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Amelia's father was John L. Largent and her mother was Sarah Critton. Her paternal grandparents were James Largent and Margaret Stephens; her maternal grandparents were John Sr. Critton and UNKNOWN Mary. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, James T., John Washington, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sarah Ann and Malinda. She is the second youngest of the nine children.General Notes
