Yaropolk II of Kiev

Yaropolk II of was born in 1082 in Pereyaslavl, Kiev, Ukraine. Yaropolk II of's father was Vladimir II Monomakh of Kiev and his mother was Gytha of Wessex. His paternal grandparents were Vsevolod I of Kiev and Maria Monomacha (Irene) of Byzantium; his maternal grandparents were Harold II Godweineson of England and Ealdgyth Swanneshals of Mercia. He had four brothers and a sister, named Isjaslav of, Mstislav I (Harald) Vladimirovich of, Vyacheslav Vladimirovich of, Yury Dolgoruky of and Maria of. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 in 1139.
