Simon II de St. Liz of's father was Simon I de Senlis de St. Liz and his mother was Matilda (Maud) of Huntingdon.  His paternal grandparents are Randulph I the Rich de Bessin de Bayeux and Alice (Alix) of Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Waltheof II of Huntingdon and Judith of Lens Normandy. He had a brother and a sister, named Waltheof de and Maud de St. Liz. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Malcolm of, Henry Dunkeld of, Claricia of and Hodierna of.  He died in August 1153.
