Mary Hiatt 
Mary was born on May 15th, 1769 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Mary's father was Evan Hiatt and her mother was Sarah Smith. Her paternal grandparents were John Jr. Hiatt and Margaret Stephens; her maternal grandparents are Jeremiah Smith and Mary Elizabeth. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, John, Jonathan, Jeremiah Sr., Margaret, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Martha. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 113 on July 17th, 1882. She was buried in Kidwell Cemetery, Slanesville, West Virginia.General Notes
