Mary Cecilia Rhodesia was born on January 21st, 1896. Mary Cecilia Rhodesia's father was James Albert Edward Hamilton and her mother was Rosalind Cecilia Caroline Bingham. Her paternal grandfather was James Hamilton; her maternal grandparents were Charles George Bingham and Cecilia Catherine Gordon-Lennox. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Edward, Claud David, Cynthia Elinor Beatrix and Katherine Seymour. She is the oldest of the five children.-
