Thomas Gilpin 
Thomas was born on July 23rd, 1700 in Birmingham or cave near Brandywine south of Dilworthtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Thomas' father was Joseph Gilpin and his mother was Hannah Glover. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Giplin and Joan Bartholomew; his maternal grandparents were George Glover and Alice Lamboll. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, George, Joseph, Isaac, Moses, Alice, Ruth, Ann, Sarah, Lydia, Hannah, Rachel and Esther. He died at the age of 66 on October 25th, 1766 in Wilmington, Delaware.1 -
