Anna was born on September 15th, 1731 in Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut. Anna's father was Francis Garrett and her mother was Sarah Mills. Her paternal grandfather was Francis Joseph Garat and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Johnson; her maternal grandparents were John Mills and Sarah Pettibone. She was an only child. She died at the age of 97 on March 6th, 1829 in Norfolk, Litchfield County, Connecticut.-
