His paternal grandparents were Edmund I Deed Doer the Elder of England and Aelfgifu of Wessex; his maternal grandparents are Ealdorman Ordmaer and UNKNOWN Ealda. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edmund of, Aethelred II the Unready of and UNKNOWN. He died in Corfe Castle, Dorset, England. He was buried in Wareham Abbey, Dorset.General Notes
