William Dawson

William was born on August 9th, 1838 in Illinois. William's father was Critton Dawson and his mother was Margaret A. Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Jr. Dawson and Mary Critton; his maternal grandfather was Joseph Johnson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph N., Samuel, Nancy and Ida. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 27 on December 22nd, 1865.
