Critton Dawson 
Critton was born on December 8th, 1812 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Critton's father was Abraham Jr. Dawson and his mother was Mary Critton. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Dawson and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were John Sr. Critton and UNKNOWN Mary. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Mariah and Harriet. He died at the age of 71 on December 2nd, 1884 in Illinois. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Peoria, Illinois.General Notes
