William Crosiar 
William was born on February 5th, 1796 in Pittsburg, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania. William's father was John Simon Crosiar and his mother was Jane Hert. His paternal grandparents were John Crosier and Esther Gleves; his maternal grandparents were James Hert and June Crozier. He had three brothers named Simon, James and Amasa (Amzi). He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 68 on October 11th, 1864 in El Dara, Pike County, Illinois.
