Gabriel Critton 
Gabriel was born on May 25th, 1775 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Gabriel's father was John Sr. Critton and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Jr, William, Issac, James, Jacob, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. He died at the age of 60 on November 25th, 1835 in Licking County, Ohio. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Knox County, Ohio.General Notes

daughter of William Postlethewaite (born Nov 22, 1759 in Washington
County, Maryland) and his wife Phebe Ann Arnold Postlethewaite. Did
"our" Gabriel marry Phoebe first then Catherine Johnson? He is the right
age and in the general area to have been Phoebe's husband and William
Postlethewaite also moved to Licking County, Ohio. Willaim and Phoebe's
daughter, Deborah married Jacob Critton.
