Daniel Critton 
Daniel was born on December 20th, 1821 in Hampshire County, West VIrginia. Daniel's father was John III Critton and his mother was Hannah Royce. His paternal grandparents were John Jr Critton and UNKNOWN Barbara; his maternal grandfather was Daniel Royce. He had a brother and three sisters, named John IV, Harriet, Sarah Jane and Martha Ann. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 71 on April 27th, 1893. He was buried in Campbell Cemetery, Paw Paw, Morgan County, West Virginia.General Notes
