Barbara Conrad

Barbara was born in 1742 in Pendleton County, West Virginia or Canton, Bern, Switzerland. Barbara's father was Jacob Conrad and her mother was Frena Svena Lauk. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Curet and Susanna Leysi. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Jacob II, Hans, Ulrich, Martin, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 60 in 1802 in Ruddle, Pendleton County, West Virginia. She was buried in 1802 in Old Conrad Cemetery, Pendleton County, West Virginia.
