Owen Brown 
Owen was born on July 26th, 1771 in Simsbury, Connecticut. Owen's father was John Brown and his mother was Hannah Owen. His paternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Eggleston; his maternal grandparents were Elijah Owen and Hannah Higley. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Frederick, Abiel, Hannah, Azabah, Esther, Margery, Lucinda, Thede and Roxy. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 84 on May 8th, 1856 in Hudson, Ohio.General Notes

John was born on May 9th, 1800 in Torrington, Connecticut. He died at the age of 59 on December 2nd, 1859. He was buried in North Elba (now Lake Placid), New York.
