Rebekah of the Bible 
Rebekah was born in Beersheba, Palastine. Rebekah's father is Bethuel son of Nahor and her mother is Milcah daughter of Haran. Her paternal grandfather is Nahor son of Terah. She had a brother named Laban. She died in Canaan. She was buried in Cave of Machpelah.General Notes
Rebekah, in the Old Testament book of Genesis, daughter of Bethuel, granddaughter of Nahor (Abraham's brother), and sister of Laban. Rebekah’s gracious behavior impressed Abraham's servant, who had come to Aram-naharaim (Mesopotamia) to find a wife for Abraham's son, Isaac. Rebekah accompanied the servant to Canaan, married Isaac, and after many years of barrenness, gave birth to twins, Esau and Jacob. Jacob was Rebekah’s favorite child, and she helped him obtain from his father, Isaac, the blessings due the first born, Esau. She then counseled Jacob to flee to her brother, Laban, in Haran, in order to escape the vengeance of Esau and also to find a wife there. Rebekah died in Canaan and was buried in the Cave of Machpelah, which is located in what is now Hebron, West Bank.
