His paternal grandparents were Roger de Beaumont and Adeliza Meulent; his maternal grandfather was Geoffrey II Count of Perche and his maternal grandmother is Beatrice de Montdidier. He was an only child. He died at the age of 51 on June 12th, 1153 in Warwick, England.-
