Ida Billung was born in 1046. Ida Billung's father was Bernard II Duke of Saxony and her mother was Eilika Margravine Of Schweinfurt. Her paternal grandparents were Bernard I (Benno) Duke of Saxony and Hildegarde Countess of Stade; her maternal grandfather was Heinrich of the Nordgau and Schweinfurth and her maternal grandmother is Gerberga Countess of Swabia. She had two brothers and a sister, named Ordulph (Otto), Hermann and Gertrude. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 56 on July 31st, 1102.-
