Margaret was born on April 5th, 1795 in Berlin, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.  Margaret's father was Michael Vance and her mother is Barbara. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John P., Michael, Jacob, Frederick, Rebecca and Sarah.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 50 on March 7th, 1846 in Wasbash Co., Indiana.


Margaret's first family with John Casper Stoever

‌Margaret and John Casper were married in a religious ceremony on September 8th, 1814 in Premble Co., Ohio.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Solomon, Absolom, Anna Maria and Catherine.


Margaret's second family with Abraham Garver

‌Margaret and Abraham were married in a religious ceremony on June 15th, 1825 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Jacob, John, David, Elizabeth and Susannah.
