Benjamin Sherman

Benjamin was born on July 15th, 1677 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. Benjamin's father was Peleg Sherman and his mother was Elizabeth Lawton. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Sherman and Sarah Odding; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lawton and Elizabeth Salisburie. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William, Daniel, Peleg, Elizabeth, Samuel, Eber, John, George, Mary, Ann, Isabel and Sarah. He died at the age of 42 in 1719 in South Kindston, Washington, Rhode Island.
