Margaret "Atheling" was born in 1043 in Dunfermline.  Margaret "Atheling"'s father was Edward "Atheling" Prince of England and her mother was Agatha von Brunswick Princess of England.  Her paternal grandfather was Edmund II "Ironside" King of England and her paternal grandmother is Ealdgyth (Algitha) Queen of England; her maternal grandparents were Liudolf Count of Brunswick and Gertrude Countess of Norgau. She had a brother and a sister, named Edgar "Atheling" and Christina "Atheling".  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Edith.  She died at the age of 50 on November 16th, 1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Castle.
