Ethelbert King Of England 
Ethelbert was born in 0835 in Wessex, England. Ethelbert's father was Ethelwulf King of Wessex and his mother was Osburh Queen of Wessex. His paternal grandparents were Ecgbert King of Wessex and Redburga De Toulouse; his maternal grandfather is Oslac Chief Butler of Wessex. He had three brothers named Ethelbald, Ethelred I and Alfred. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 30 in 0865.General Notes
King Ethelbert of Wessex was a son of Ethelwulf of Wessex and was born in around 835 AD. He succeeded his brother, Ethelbald of Wessex, as King of Wessex in 860, but died without issue in about 865. His reign saw a Danish plundering of Kent and raids in Northumbria, both led by Ragnar Lodbrok. They had also penetrated as far as Winchester in Ethelbert's early reign.
