Lu Margaret was born on June 22nd, 1824 in Tennessee. Lu Margaret's father was James Chandler and her mother was Barbara Keicher. Her maternal grandparents were Conrad Keicher and Margaret Lyerle. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Calvin, Peter, John Kiker, William David, James M., Joseph Henderson, Jeremiah, Morgan Catherine and Martha Elizabeth. She is the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
