Susannah E. was born in 1854. Susannah E.'s father was Joseph A. Boyd and her mother is Mary Ann P. Booth. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Boyte and Susannah Keicher. She had two brothers and a sister, named William R., John Jeremiah and Amanda S.. She is the second oldest of the four children. She has two half-brothers named Joseph Crawford and James Asa.-
