Arthur Calvin was born on January 8th, 1890 in Milford, Ellis Co., TX. Arthur Calvin's father was Darius Esterly Boyd and his mother is Martha Emily Gibson. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Boyte and Susannah Keicher. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Aaron, William Baxter, Robert Lee, Charles Andrew, John Rufus, James Houston, George Sanford, Adeline Alice, Mary Lucinda, Sina Elizabeth, Emily Susan Annie, Minnie Ellen and Zonie Viola. He was the youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 77 on June 9th, 1967 in Wise Co., TX. He was buried in Crafton Cem., Wise Co., TX.-
