Philinda C. was born on February 23rd, 1874 in Illinois. Philinda C.'s father was Ralza Spencer Andrews and her mother was Elmina Amelia Cornell. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Willie, Irwin E., George Harrison, Lewis Howard, Elmer Wesley, Herbert Freeland, Edith I. and Ethel F.. She is the third oldest of the nine children.
‌Philinda C. and Howard were married in a religious ceremony on July 16th, 1893. They had four sons and two daughters, named Irwin Rdell, Arthur H., Otis G., Ralza, Florence and Gladys.
