Jennie was born in 1787. Jennie's father was William Anders and her mother was Hannah Holiday. Her paternal grandfather was Robert Anders and her paternal grandmother is Sarah; her maternal grandparents were Henry Holiday and Mary Fayle. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Starling, William, Archibald, Elizabeth and Patsy. She is the third youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers named Laborn, Mark and John.-
