Ollie was born in 1900. Ollie's father was Abraham Anders and her mother was Susan Spurlin. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Anders and Sarah Richardson; her maternal grandparents are Andrew Spurlin and Nancy Crouse. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Elbert, James E., Crockett, Cleveland, Lina and Nancy. She is the youngest of the eight children.-
