Guillaume was born on June 22nd, 1771 in Point Coupee, Louisiana.1 Guillaume's father was Jean Baptiste Lemoine and his mother was Catherine Simon. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume Lemoine and Marie Sanmerine; his maternal grandparents were Andre Simon and Marie Anne Vallo. He had six brothers and a sister, named Guillaume, Jean Baptiste, Joseph, Louis, Jean Baptiste, Jean Pierre and Catherine. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Alexis, Celestin, Jean Baptiste, Sebastien, Lucille, Jean and Jeanne. He died about 1833 in Cocoville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.
