Simeon Gremillion

Simeon was born on June 26th, 1906.¹ Simeon's father was George Gremillion and his mother was Irene Angelle Couvillon. His paternal grandparents were Francois Gremillion and Eugenia Dufour; his maternal grandparents were Sosthene Alexandre Couvillon and Irma Jeansonne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Lester, Seltz, Mamie and Addie. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 22 on September 16th, 1928. He was buried in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Plaucheville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.¹¹
