Rosa Couvillon 
Rosa was born on March 17th, 1850 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Rosa's father was JEROME Couvillon and her mother was SCHOLASTIQUE Mayeux. Her paternal grandparents were HYPOLITE Oge Couvillon and *HELOISE Rabalais; her maternal grandparents were ANTOINE Mayeux and ROSALIE Broyard Barre. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Jules Cesaire, LOUIS Cyrile, Paulite Alexandre, Antoine Ferdinand, Roselia, Marie Aglia, Leotine, Sephora, Anelia, Adele and Ida. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 64 on January 14th, 1915 in Plaucheville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.
