Robert I Le Frison was born about 1033 in Flanders, Belgium. Robert I Le Frison's father was Baudouin V Count Of Flanders and his mother was Adele Princess Of France. His paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Barbatus Flanders and Otgive De Luxembourg; his maternal grandparents were Robert II The Pious France and Constance Of Provence. He had a brother and two sisters, named Baudouin VI I The Peaceble Of, Matilda Maud and Judith Fausta. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Helene Le Bon De.
