Matilda Maud was born in 1032 in Flanders, France.  Matilda Maud's father was Baudouin V Count Of Flanders and her mother was Adele Princess Of France.  Her paternal grandparents were Baudouin IV Barbatus Flanders and Otgive De Luxembourg; her maternal grandparents were Robert II The Pious France and Constance Of Provence. She had two brothers and a sister, named Baudouin VI I The Peaceble Of, Robert I Le Frison and Judith Fausta.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Helene Le Bon De.  She died at the age of 51 on November 3rd, 1083 in Caen, Calvados, France.  She was buried in Church Of Holy Trinity, Caen.
