William SHIPLEY 
William was born on May 1st, 1729 in Queen Caroline P, Howard, Md and his baptism took place on May 1st, 1729 in , Ann Arundel, Md. William's father was Robert SHIPLEY and his mother is Elizabeth STEVENS. His paternal grandparents were Adam SHIPLEY and Lois HOWARD; his maternal grandfather was Charles STEVENS and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Mrs STEVENS. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Charles, Robert, George Jr., Adam, Ruth, Keturah, Retinah, Elizabeth, Sarah and Lois (Lours). He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
