Margaret Elizabeth was born on July 15th, 1872 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Margaret Elizabeth's father was George Slowther (Slouther) SHELTON and her mother was Caroline Almira BRITTON. Her paternal grandparents were Robert SHELTON and Margaret SLOWTHER; her maternal grandparents are Richard BRITTON and Elizabeth LEE. She had five brothers and four sisters, named George Robert, Frederick Henry, Joseph Richard, John William, Leo, Caroline Isabell, Mary Alice, Harriet Ann and Sussanah Pearl. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 2 on December 27th, 1874 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co, Utah.General Notes
