Willem ROOME 
Willem was born in 1692 and his baptism took place on April 17th, 1692 in Ref Prot Dutch C, New York, Kings, Ny. Willem's father was Pieter Willemse ROOME and his mother was Hester VAN GELDER. His paternal grandparents were Willem Jansen (Janszen) ROOME and Jannetje JANS; his maternal grandparents were Johannes VAN GELDER and Tanneken MONTENAC. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Johannes, Jacob, Pieter Pieterse, Jannetie, Janneken, Jannetken, Maria, Mariah, Ariaentje, Hester and Anna. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on December 10th, 1759.General Notes
