Nicholas Charles Nance

Nicholas Charles was born in 1842 in , , Tennessee.  Nicholas Charles' father was Josiah Crenshaw NANCE and his mother was Bethenia Harden Sneed.  His paternal grandfather was William Howe Nance and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Veneable Morton; his maternal grandparents are James Sneed and Bethenia Harden Perkins. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named James, William, Costantine, Josiah, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Bethenia, Martha Harriett, Susannah, Sallie and Virginia Tennessee.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 23 on August 16th, 1865.
