William MUNCHENSY 
William was born about 1185 in Of, Gooderstone, Norfolk, England. William's father was William MUNCHENSY and his mother was Aveline De CLARE. His paternal grandparents were Warin De MUNCHENSY and Agnes FITZJOHN; his maternal grandparents were Roger De CLARE and Maud (Matilda) De SAINT HILARY. He had a brother and three sisters, named Warin, Hawise, Alice and Cecily. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Cicely and Hawise.
