Aveline De was born about 1172 in Of, Hereford, Herefordshire, England.  Aveline De's father was Roger De CLARE and her mother was Maud (Matilda) De SAINT HILARY.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard De CLARE and Alice (Adeliza) De MESCHINES; her maternal grandparents are James (Du Harcourt) De SAINT HILARY (HILAIRE) and Aveline UNKNOWN. She had five brothers and a sister, named Richard De, James De, Roger De, John De, Henry De and Mable De.  She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers named William D', Alan (Aubigny) De and Godfrey (Aubigny) De.  She died about June 4th, 1225 in , , , England.
