Miriam MATTHEWS 
Miriam was born on August 11th, 1786 in Baltimore County, Maryland. Miriam's father was William MATTHEWS and her mother was Ann GRIFFITH. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver MATTHEWS and Hannah JOHNS; her maternal grandparents were Isaac GRIFFITH and Ann BURSON. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named Oliver, William, Hannah, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Sarah, Rachel and Ruth. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 76 in 1862 in , Baltimore, Maryland.General Notes
