Francis Marion JOHNSON 
Francis Marion was born on April 29th, 1838 in , Washington, Va. Francis Marion's father was George Washington Johnston and his mother was Sarah Barnett. His paternal grandfather is John William Johnston and his paternal grandmother was Nancy Hilton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Calvin, Campbell, John, Charles C., Elizabeth Adealine, Mary Jane and Margaret. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 47 on April 4th, 1886 in Mcclurg, Taney, Mo. He was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Taney Co., Mo.General Notes
