Abraham Jr. was born on February 12th, 1713 in Richland, Phil, Pa. Abraham Jr.'s father was Abraham GRIFFITH and his mother was Hannah LESTER. His paternal grandparents were Howell GRIFFITH and UNKNOWN GRIFFITH; his maternal grandparents were Peter LESTER and Mary (Duncoff) DUNCALF OR DUNCOFF. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Jonathan, Joseph, Isaac, Samuel and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
