John GOODNIGHT

John was born on May 1st, 1765 in , Mecklenburg, Nc.  John's father was John Hans Michael GOODNIGHT and his mother was Mary Landers.  His paternal grandfather is Michael GUTKNECHT; his maternal grandfather was Christopher Christian Landis and his maternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Christopher, Jacob, Henry, Abraham, Michael, Isaac, Margaret, Elizabeth, Rachel and Sarah (Sally).  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 75 on March 10th, 1841 in , Mercer, Ky.  He was buried in Goodnight Cem, Boyle Co, Kentucky.
