Jacob GOODNIGHT

Jacob was born in 1768 in Nr. Stanford, Lincoln, Kentucky.  Jacob's father was John Hans Michael GOODNIGHT and his mother was Mary Landers.  His paternal grandfather is Michael GUTKNECHT; his maternal grandfather was Christopher Christian Landis and his maternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Christopher, John, Henry, Abraham, Michael, Isaac, Margaret, Elizabeth, Rachel and Sarah (Sally).  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 75 on February 19th, 1843 in Stanford, Lincoln, Ky.  He was buried in His Farm.
