Elizabeth "Betsy" DESHA

Elizabeth "Betsy" was born on October 19th, 1793 in , Sumner, Tn.  Elizabeth "Betsy"'s father was Robert DESHA and her mother is Eleanor WHEELER.  Her paternal grandparents are Robert DESHA and Mary Elizabeth EVERFIELDT; her maternal grandparents were Joseph WHEELER and Maria Holmes. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, Benjamin, Robert, Joseph Holmes, James, Robert, Benjamin II, Nancy, Eleanor "Nelly", Mary "Polly" and Phoebe Ann.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 82 on September 7th, 1876 in Neapolis, Maury, Tn.  She was buried in Dowell Cem, Maury, Tn.
