John Betts 
John was born on May 8th, 1755 in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and his baptism took place in Friend's Meeting House, Wrightstown, Bucks, PA.1 John's father was Thomas Betts and his mother was Sarah Phebe Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Betts and Susannah Willett Stevenson; his maternal grandparents were William Smith and Rebecca Wilson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, Stephen, Isaac, Zachariah, Sarah, Ann, Rebecca, Susannah and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 86 on May 27th, 1841 in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 1 -
