William Eli "Pess" Barnett

William Eli "Pess" was born about 1864 in Williamson Co.,Illinois. William Eli "Pess"'s father was Hiram Richard Barnett and his mother was Martilla J. Thaxton. His maternal grandparents were James C. Thaxton and (Mrs) ???. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James W., Joseph W., Elijah, Hiram Henry, Benjamin Franklin, John Wesley, Andrew, Mary Louisa, Mary E. "Polly", Martilla J. and Fanny. He was the third youngest of the twelve children.
